Our Commitment

ConfeRanK is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone by applying relevant accessibility standards, industry best practices, and user feedback.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to align our experience with the following guidelines:

  • WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria for perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust content
  • Semantic HTML and ARIA patterns that support assistive technologies
  • Keyboard navigability and focus management across all interactive components

Design & Technical Practices

Interface Design

  • High-contrast color palette with consistent typography
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to zoom and device settings
  • Accessible form patterns with clear labels and error states

Engineering

  • Alt text for informative imagery and SVG icons
  • ARIA roles and attributes where native semantics are insufficient
  • Continuous keyboard testing across navigation, filters, and modals

Assistive Technology Support

Our team routinely tests with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and browser accessibility inspection tools. If you encounter barriers with any assistive technology, please let us know so we can address them quickly.

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review new features against WCAG criteria, conduct manual audits, and collaborate with conference organizers to surface accessible venue details (ramps, captioning, sensory-friendly options) wherever possible.

Report an Issue

If you experience accessibility challenges on our site or have suggestions for improvement, please reach out. Include the page URL, assistive technology used, and a brief description so we can replicate the issue.

Third-Party Content

Some conference listings may link to third-party sites or resources. While we cannot control the accessibility of external platforms, we prioritize partners who share inclusive values and we welcome feedback about inaccessible third-party experiences.

Feedback & Timeline

We respond to accessibility inquiries within 3–5 business days and outline remediation timelines for confirmed issues. Urgent blockers receive priority handling.
